Finally "Power to You"

Vodafone changed its tagline so many times in last many years. Initially its tagline was “How are you?”Then it came with another that I can’t able to recall and then it switch to the “Happy to help” and now finally they came with another new tagline it is “Power to You”.
What does it really mean? This is the only one company in the world which changing its tag line frequently no other does. if we see just analyze this all tagline with general sense it shows us that initially “how are you” means just call by your Vodafone card and ask another person how are you. Means they are not focusing on other service except only calling.
But with the passage of time they came to “happy to help” means now they are not more involving in providing calling services better but become consumer oriented and feel that if they want to stable in market than providing better services to consumer is vital.
And Finally in November they introduce new tagline “Power to You”. Chief executive Vittorio Colao said “it is not the brand talking any more and telling the customer what to do…it is the customer who will decide, I am trying to steer the whole company in this direction”.
According to me “Power to You” means they tell consumer fearlessly than if u are not satisfied with the service of our company than go with another company because “Power to You” [:P].
But here Vodafone is making a blunder because most of the people in India still not aware about its new tagline. They have to spend huge amount on to inculcate their new tagline in their consumer’s mind. And they are only spending 600 millions all over the world.
“Power to You” what does it really mean?
“Power to you” expresses Vodafone’s desire to offer customers better choices and to support them, through mobile communications, to take advantage of life opportunities. “Power to you” reflects the promise to make things simpler for our customers and to offer them unique advantages with Vodafone.
